Coconut water is not needed. Coconut pulp RUB on a coarse grater or chop in processor.
Pour 1 litre of strong rum (you can substitute on alcohol 70-75 degrees). Allow to infuse for 8-10 days, stirring occasionally contents, turning the bottle.
Filtered through a clean cotton cloth.
Sugar and water boil thick syrup. Add vanilla.

Bottle, aged. Used better slightly chilled with an ice cube. The older, the better.
