This dish I tried at a party, before lamb did not like, but could not tear myself away from the dish. So I decided to cook at home. Turned out great!
Ingredients for Lamb with eggplant, potatoes, peppers and tomatoes
- Lamb - 1 kg
- Eggplant - 2 PCs
- Potatoes - 1 kg
- Tomato - 5 PCs
- Pepper - 2 PCs
- Onion - 3 PCs
- Carrots - 3 PCs
- Garlic - 3 PCs
Step by step instruction of cooking Lamb with eggplant, potatoes, peppers and tomatoes
Required products + lamb. The amount of vegetables and meat in a large roaster or kettle.
Mutton pieces are well cut and fry under the lid until soft.
Potatoes large pieces to put on top and pour boiling water from the kettle. The water should cover carufel. Put out under the lid about 5-10 minutes, until soft.
Put the peeled eggplant and coarsely chopped pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Fry the onions and carrots in the pan until Golden brown.
Tomatoes pour over boiling water, leave for 5 minutes under the lid in a saucepan, then peel.
Coarsely chop and add into the cauldron. Boils, add fried onions and carrots, spices, lamb, salt, pepper, Bay leaf.
Simmer until the potatoes will not be mushy, and the vegetables are tender. Chopped garlic and herbs are added last in the finished stew. Boil, remove from heat. After 15-20 minutes, put on the table.
