Ingredients for Cookies the Greek "Melomakarona"

- Cinnamon - 2 tsp.
- Walnuts - 100 g
- Butter - 60 g
- Olive oil - 60 ml
- Orange juice - 100 ml
- Sugar - 60 g
- Sugar - 70 g
- Water - 60 ml
- Honey - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Cookies the Greek "Melomakarona"
The oven is heated to 180°C, put the pan with baking paper.
The flour and baking powder sift into a bowl, add the orange zest, cinnamon and half the walnuts.
Butter and sugar beat white, OM mix with orange juice and pour in 3 call in sweet oil, continuing to whisk (I mixer churned).
In 2 portions add the flour, knead with your hands until a soft, homogeneous dough.

For syrup mix all the ingredients (sugar, water, nuts, cinnamon, orange juice, honey) in a saucepan. Put on fire to dissolve the sugar and, stirring constantly, boil until thick for about 10 minutes on very low heat.
Biscuits dipped in syrup and serve.
