This is our family dish where it is - I don't know, but as a child I was often prepared by my mother.
Ingredients for Our favorite coleslaw
- Cabbage - 1 forks
- Carrots - 2 PCs
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Sugar - 5 tbsp
- Vinegar - 5 tbsp
- Vegetable oil - 10 tbsp
- Salt - 1.5 tsp.
Step by step instruction of cooking Our favorite coleslaw
Cabbage cut into strips, put in a saucepan, add salt and mash with your hands (to start stand out the juice).
Peel the carrot, grate on a medium grater.
Peel the onion and cut into thin half-rings.
To connect with carrots and onions in with the cabbage, mixing it right.
Add sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil.
Again mix well.
Let stand at room temperature for two hours.
You can eat.
