In Portugal, there are many recipes of cakes with almonds - this is one of them, with nougat in addition. Cake is very unusual and well, very tasty!
Ingredients for Cake with nougat and almonds
- Flour - 250 g
- Sugar - 450 g
- Margarine - 120 g
- Chicken egg - 2 PCs
- Butter - 125 g
- Water - 5 tbsp
- Milk - 10 tbsp
- Leavening agent - 1.5 tsp.
- Almonds - 200 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Cake with nougat and almonds

Prepare the dough: mix soft margarine with sugar (200 grams), add eggs, then flour, 2 tablespoons water and baking powder. Thoroughly mix the dough. Put in the form, beat slightly with a fork, to not grow, and put into a pre heated oven (180 degrees). Bake until ready.

While baked cake, prepare the nougat: mix the butter, sugar (250 gram), water - 3 tbsp and milk, put on medium heat boil until thick and add the peeled chopped almonds.

Remove from the oven form with the finished cake and pour on top of a thick stuffing. Put back in the oven for 10-15 minutes until browned on top. All our cake is ready, help yourself.
