The American version of the popular English crumble. Delicate vanilla apples under a crispy crust. There is nothing easier. Served warm.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
In bowl combine apples, lemon juice and vanilla. Shake to well blended.
Put the apples in a baking dish.
Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon and cereal.
Stir in softened butter.
Cover the mixture with apples.
Bake 45 minutes, until the crust will look crispy and the apples are soft.
Dessert is served warm with ice cream, whipped cream or custard. Bon appetit!
