In this marinade can do any kind of fish but preferably small. It swells and is very soft and delicious.

- Herring - 1 kg
- Vinegar - 1 Cup.
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 2 PCs
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Black pepper - 7 PCs
- Bay leaf - 4 PCs
Step by step instruction of cooking Herring in white marinade
Herring clear, remove head and viscera. Roll in flour with salt added. Fry
Cook the marinade. Water, vinegar, and seasonings (Bay leaf, pepper, onion, carrot), salt and sugar - mix it all together. Cooked until transparent onions on low heat under the lid.
This marinade (cold) pour fried fish and let it brew for... a day... two. I have so long it not worth it - eaten up quickly.
