But seriously, very hearty and flavorful dish for a family feast. R. S. on the website I've seen similar dishes, but still think my version is the most complete.
Ingredients for Khinkal
- Lamb - 1 kg
- Flour
- Chicken egg - 2 PCs
- Potatoes - 2 PCs
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Sauce - 0.5 l
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Garlic - 3-4 tooth.
- Water
- Salt
- Spices
Step by step instruction of cooking Khinkal

Broth.
My meat, put to boil in a large saucepan. As meat boils, skim off the foam. And add the whole potatoes, chopped onion, finely grated carrots. Cook until the meat is cooked.

Pellet.
Knead a simple dough (water, 2 eggs, salt, flour), roll out. Cut into pieces.

Sauce.
Fry finely chopped onion until Golden brown. Cover with the sauce, fry for another 10 minutes on medium heat. Turn off the gas, add the garlic (very finely chopped).

Cook tortillas in salted water.
Assemble the dish: first tortillas, then sauce, and top with meat. Serve with broth.
