In the glorious 80's. my parents lived in Western Siberia, and only in the summer, came to his native Donbas. While in Siberia, my mother (and grandmother when she came to us) were preparing the soup in meat broth, in the Donbass grandma spoiled vegetable borecka, but with beans.
