Another simple dish of Indian cuisine. It is my long stick wand when guests at the door. Simple rice in our time is no surprise, but so – and- speckled - will take its rightful place in festive toppings.

Traditionally, in India almost all the dishes liberally sprinkled with lime juice. Rice is no exception. The rice serves a variety of "toppings" - the chutneys (sauces), Wright (salad with yogurt) and pickles (pickled in oil with spices vegetables or fruits), washed down with a Lassi (sweet or salty yogurt and spices, whipped with water).
