Delicious and easy to prepare pie, the recipe of which I inherited from my great-grandmother.

Step-by-step instruction of cooking Cake with walnuts


Step 1

Mix the butter, sour cream, baking soda and salt.


Step 2

Add flour, knead the dough. Divide it into 2 parts: 1/3 and 2/3.


Step 3

A large part of the rolled thickness of 1 cm and put into the form, typically the pan (I took all the ingredients in 2 times more and cooked on a baking sheet).
A smaller part of the rolled thickness of 0.5 cm.


Step 4

Make filling: crush the walnuts, add sugar and egg, mix. Spread the filling on the dough in the form, leaving a couple of inches at the edges to wrap. Cover lower half, carefully wrap and fasten the edges together. Make the middle hole with a five-kopeck coin.


Step 5

Sent in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 30 minutes, until cooked dough (it should be crumbly).


Step 6

Remove and let stand for 10 minutes for the filling to set.
