Take the pan in which you will make your friedge. Boil water in it, add salt to taste and chill the water.
Take any greens.
I got dill, cilantro, parsley and Basil.

Cooked potatoes, and also rubbed on a coarse grater.
Eggs cooked and also rubbed on a coarse grater.
Boiled beets are also rubbed, but on the "average" grater.
Serve with sour cream.
