Casserole in Moldovan with lentils

The recipe is from the book the Soviet era "Moldavian cuisine". Unfortunately, I can't tell neither name of author nor the year of publication cover was lost even before the book fell into my grasping hands. This recipe is listed there as "potato Moussaka with lentils". Oh, there is an indescribable charm in these Soviet cookbooks and recipes from there.
Ingredients for Casserole in Moldovan with lentils
- Potatoes - 7 PCs
- Lentils - 2 stack.
- Fat - 100 g
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1 piece
- Black pepper
Step by step instruction of cooking Casserole in Moldovan with lentils
Potatoes cleaned and cut into slices.
Bacon (I had bacon with garlic and herbs) cut into small pieces. Onions cut in small cubes.
On a slow fire vytaplivaete fat, fry onions in it until Golden brown.
Grind the lentils in a blender or mince. Add lentil paste to the onions, salt, pepper and fry, mix well, 2-3 minutes.
Form grease with vegetable oil, spread half of potato slices, sprinkle lightly with salt.
For potatoes put the lentil paste, covered the remaining potato slices. Dilute the tomato paste in a glass of water and pour the pudding on top (I had the ketchup "Bulgarian").
Bake in the oven at about 200 degrees for 20 minutes (until all the liquid is evaporated). Served with fresh tomatoes.
