Recipe from "the Book about tasty and healthy food" 1939 ed.
The flesh of the meat, cleaned of fat and tendons, crank 3-4 times through a meat grinder. Well-washed rice, seethe in 1/2 Cup water until tender in the form of thick porridges, wipe through a sieve, allow to cool and cold to mix with the meat.
The resulting mixture is put in a pot and have a good beat with a wooden phallus, season with salt and spoon in the shape of a quenelle (dumplings).
Dumplings put to a wet pan, cover with cold water and allow to writing a rolling boil 5-10 min. Boiled dumplings is removed from the water and serve with butter (a piece).
