Ingredients for Stew of beans in Serbian
- Black pepper - 2-3 PCs
- Vegetable oil
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Paprika sweet - 1 tsp.
- Sausages - 2-3 PCs
- Garlic - 2 the tooth.
- Pepper - 2 PCs
- Tomato - 2 PCs
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Beans - 300 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Stew of beans in Serbian
For this recipe I used white beans from the company Mistral.
Beans pour cold water overnight.
In the morning drain the water, rinse, re-fill with water, add a Bay leaf, a few peppercorns and cook until tender, but do not seethe.
Onions clear and finely chop.
Sausages peel and cut into slices.
Garlic is also clean and flatten with a knife.
Preheat the frying pan and fry in vegetable oil about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, add the paprika and stir.
Medium wash tomatoes, make incisions and pour over boiling water, remove peel.
Cut them in cubes.
Bulgarian pepper to clear of seeds, cut into small pieces.
Tomatoes and peppers add to the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Then add beans with broth, cumin, salt to taste and cook for another 10 - 15 minutes.
