The rice we like in various types: classical with meat and vegetarian - vegetable and fruit. At last today I want to elaborate. It has a sweet taste and spicy smell of spices — an unusual combination. This dish can be one of the main menu, lovers of healthy food. The rice cooked in this recipe, is optimally suited both for Breakfast and for dinner, because there are a lot of nutrients and vitamins. In addition, the dish is quickly and easily absorbed by the body.
Ingredients for Sweet rice with fruits
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carnation - 4 PCs
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Butter - 45 g
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Apple - 2 PCs
- Water - 600 ml
- Figure - 200 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Raisins - 80 g
- Prunes - 50 g
- Dried apricots - 30 g
- Walnuts - 100 g
- Bay leaf - 2 PCs
Step by step instruction of cooking Sweet rice with fruits
All the ingredients we need to prepare fruit rice
Rinse the rice under running water and give it to dry in a colander
RUB on a coarse grater carrots.
I scrub the carrots with a special grater julienne, I like that better
Cut into cubes onions
In a frying pan melt 20 g butter
When the butter is all melted, put onions and carrots
Fry for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
Take another pan and melt the remaining butter
When the butter has melted, put in a pan the cloves and Bay leaf and fry for 30 seconds (whole spices).
Then add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, mix everything and fry for another 15 seconds
Finely chop the walnuts, I use the chopper for vegetables as in the picture.

Until all cooked, take the dried fruit - apricots, raisins and prunes, wash them under water in a colander. Then put them in a pot, in a bowl
And fill with boiling water for 2-3 minutes to soften
Pour water out of dried fruits
Dried apricots and prunes cut into cubes or strips, as you like
And chop them in large cubes
Open the lid for 15 minutes until rice is done and put back raisins, dried apricots, prunes and apples
With a spatula gently mix everything together, close the lid and simmer for another 15 minutes until fully cooked
Fruit when rice is ready, open the lid, moisture to evaporate, remove cloves and Bay leaf and gently mix everything.
