Ingredients for Italian soup with lentils
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 the tooth.
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Tomatoes in own juice - 400 g
- Lentils - 200 g
- Potatoes - 2 PCs
- Broth - 2 l
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
- Paprika sweet - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Italian soup with lentils
Onions and garlic peel and finely chop. Fry in a pan for 2-3 minutes.
Carrots wash, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Add to the onions with the garlic.
Put the tomatoes in own juice and stewed with carrots and onions 7 minutes. You can add 1 teaspoon of ground paprika and cumin.
Broth bring to a boil, put the lentils and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
Add potatoes cut into cubes, and cook for another 15 minutes.
Then add the steamed vegetables, season with salt and pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Before serving, you can add to each bowl of soup with fresh cilantro.
