Ingredients for Honey cake with hazelnuts
- Butter - 170 g
- Sugar - 200 g
- Chicken egg - 4 PCs
- Cream - 2 tbsp
- Forest nuts - 125 g
- Flour - 85 g
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Powdered sugar - 125 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Honey cake with hazelnuts
Whisk soft butter, sugar and eggs.
Continuing to whisk, add 2 tbsp of honey and cream
then the ground nuts and flour.
Turn on the oven to 180*C
Spread the dough in a rectangular shape, greased and floured or lined with baking paper.
My form 24 cm in length.
Bake 40-45 minutes at 180*C.
If the top starts to burn, cover with foil.
Check the readiness with a wooden toothpick.
Ready hot cake pinned many times with a fork or knife, then the surface of the cake several times lubricated with honey.
Take out of shape.
Of powdered sugar and lemon juice with water to prepare the glaze, just all mixing to homogeneity; the liquid in the icing sugar, add gradually, constantly stirring. The glaze should be very runny.
Fill the cake, decorate as desired.
