The soup was taught to me by my mother. The original recipe - didn't add or diminish. The soup is tasty, healthy and quick to prepare.
Ingredients for Pickle vegetable
- Water - 2.5 l
- Pearl barley - 150 g
- Cucumber - 600 g
- Carrots - 400 g
- Potatoes - 500 g
- Tomato paste - 3 tbsp.
- Sunflower oil - 5 tbsp
- Onion - 1 g
- Salt - 2 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 3 PCs
- Garlic - 2 the tooth.
Step by step instruction of cooking Pickle vegetable
In boiling water add podgoloski sliced onions, cook about five minutes. The water becomes a greenish color. Then add carrots, potatoes, salt. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
Put the cucumbers, pearl barley and fried. Cook for another 5 minutes. Add half a Cup of cooked pickle, garlic, Bay leaf, parsley. Give another boil for 3 minutes, turn it off.
Barley rinse, boil, drain the remaining water through a colander.
Cucumbers cut into cubes. Boil salted and pickled cucumbers should be together after boiling, cook for 5-7 minutes. To drain the cucumbers, the brine leave.
Do fried. Cut the half onion, three carrots 200 gr. Put in the pan with the vegetables, oil and tomato paste. All this stew for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
Cut the potato cubes and remaining carrots (200 g) into strips.
