Step by step instruction of cooking Eateries cakes with drunken apples and caramelized bacon
Puff pastry thaw, roll out to a thickness of 0.5 mm, cut out circles with a cookie cutter or a glass.
The diameter of your choice, depending on what size you want to obtain a cake.
Put on with baking paper baking sheet and bake in a preheated 180*C oven until Golden brown.
Highly recommend, one is grating, to put it on top of the workpiece and then send in the oven. This will limit the rise of the test and the workpiece will be smooth and not too high (and a nice relief from the top). I have a grid there, so I had to fight with the balls, if any are bulging:)
Meanwhile, let us drunken Apple filling. For her I recommend to use a hard sour apples, green better.
To release the apples from the skin and core and cut into small cubes.
In a saucepan pour 130 gr of brown sugar and pour 2 tbsp water (only to slightly wet the sugar). Put the saucepan on a medium heat and, stirring, bring to a boil. After boiling to give a caramel to boil for 3-5 minutes without disturbing.
Pour 100 ml of brandy (the original recipe was Bourbon, but I replaced it with a cognac. And in ingredients the Bourbon be added wants:)). Stirring to achieve homogeneity and add sliced apples. Bring to boil, cover and boil for 1-2 minutes until transparent apples. Focus on your apples, depending on grade you may need more or less time.
Ready stuffing to cool.
This time I cooked half of the rules, because on the photo I received smaller portions.
Prepare caramelled bacon.
And preparing it is very simple. Lay strips of bacon on a baking sheet, sprinkle brown sugar and send in the preheated oven for approximately 7 minutes, until roasted caramel brownish stripes.
Cool, crunchy caramels!
