- Tail - 1.5 kg
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Carrots - 2 PCs
- Mustard - 1-1,5 tsp.
- Spices - 2 tsp.
- Ginger - 40 g
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Beef tail stewed in a slow cooker
Tail cut in the cartilage of the joints into pieces and soak in cold water for 2-3 hours, preferably overnight.
Cut onion into half rings, carrots - rings and ginger - cubes.
In a hot pan heat the oil and fry the meat (beef tail) on all sides to blush. Put the pieces into the slow cooker.
On this same pan fry the vegetables for 10-15 min.
Add to the meat in the slow cooker.
Add water, tomato paste, mustard, spices, salt, and pepper. Close the lid. Set mode "FIGHTING" for 3.5-4 hours and go about your business.
