Churros

Mexican doughnuts choux pastry. Traditionally served with hot chocolate.
Ingredients for Churros
- Cinnamon - 0.25 tsp
- Flour - 100 g
- Vegetable oil
- Powdered sugar
- Butter - 50 g
- Chicken egg - 3 PCs
- Water - 1/2 stack.
Step by step instruction of cooking Churros

To prepare the dough, sift the flour and cinnamon onto a plate or into a bowl and place around the plate. Gently heat the butter in 0.5 cups of water until the butter become soft, then quickly bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat and quickly, in one go add the flour, whisk vigorously until smooth.

Put the dough on the heat for 30 seconds, still stirring. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Gradually drive in the eggs until the mixture turns into a smooth paste with a greasy luster.

Half fill a deep fryer or deep pan with oil and heat to 190° C.

Fill dough pastry tube with an orifice diameter of 0.5-1 cm and squeeze into the hot oil forming a ring, a spiral or horseshoe. Sauté about 3 minutes, turning once, until Golden brown.

Using a spoon, a slotted spoon, place on absorbent paper. Keep warm until you fry the whole mass.
You can sprinkle a thick layer of powdered sugar.
