- Cod - 400 g
- Shrimp - 400 g
- Coconut milk - 400 ml
- Broth - 0.5 l
- Chili - 1 piece
- Sauce - 1 tsp.
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp.
- Noodles - 150 g
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Thai fish soup with coconut milk
Shrimp thawed and cleaned.
Cut the fish in small pieces.
My fish was boiled.
Chili pepper wash, remove seeds and finely chop.
Ginger root (about 2-3 cm) peel and cut into thin slices.
In a saucepan heat the oil, add the peppers and cook for 30 seconds.
Then pour in the stock.
Add the coconut milk.
Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Put the soup prawns, fish pieces, cook for 4 minutes.
Add lemon juice, sugar and fish sauce.
Stir and immediately remove from heat.
Leave under the hood.
Rice noodles cook according to instructions on the package.
Cut it slices and arrange on plates.
Pour the hot soup and serve immediately.
