Very easy to prepare, delicious in taste, fragrant spicy pie will surely appeal to fans of sweet. Recipe from the book "Delizie al Forno". The cake for my favorite Proteins in gratitude for everything!!!
Ingredients for Spicy honey cake for Proteins
- Butter - 150 g
- Brown sugar - 115 g
- Honey - 175 g
- Water - 1 tbsp
- Flour - 200 g
- Ginger - 1/2 tsp.
- Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp.
- Zira - 1/2 tsp.
- Cardamom - 8 PCs
- Chicken egg - 2 PCs
- Powdered sugar - 350 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Spicy honey cake for Proteins
Butter, sugar, honey and water cook on low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat, cool 10 minutes.
In the sifted flour (in my case + baking powder and starch), add ginger, cinnamon, cumin seeds and cardamom. Mix thoroughly.
Pour in the honey mixture, flour and beaten eggs (I have this thing read attentively and eggs are not pre-whipped).
With a mixer beat until smooth.
The finished cake remove from the form and cool completely.
Powdered sugar mix with warm water until not too thick consistency and cover cake.
To give the icing a little dry.
