- Barberry - 1 Cup.
- Water - 200 ml
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 2 tsp.
- Vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Allspice - 3 PCs
- Carnation - 3 PCs
- Cinnamon - 0.5 tsp.
Step by step instruction of cooking Barberries pickled
Barberry to sort, wash, a little dry.
Prepare ingredients for marinade.
The water to boil.
Prepare marinade: sugar, salt, vinegar, allspice, cloves and cinnamon. Bring to a boil.
Pour the hot marinade.
Cover, cool, put into the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Serve as a side dish to meat dishes. I loved the combination of pickled barberries and pork ribs. Also recommended as a side dish to meat stews.
