Step by step instruction of cooking Turkey hearts with beans and autumn vegetables (fresh and pickled) to the tagine
Ingredients. The photo does not have enough carrots and parsley.
Hearts cut along not to the end, to deploy.
Marinate in any marinade (I had lemon sauce) for a couple of hours. From time to time to stir hearts with the marinade.
Dried lime (or lemon) cut into thin shavings, in the course of removing the bones.
Mix the seasonings (cumin, paprika, curry, cinnamon, ginger, barberry).
Onions and garlic cut into large portions.
The pumpkin and zucchini to release from the seeds, peel and cut into cubes approximately 2x2 cm
Carrots cut into slices.
Vegetables add salt, mix with spices.
Onions and garlic are lightly fried in vegetable oil.
Hearts out of the marinade and fry in vegetable oil with side slit.
In the pan the tagine put the canned beans with liquid (or you can put soaked overnight peas or chickpeas).
On top of the beans lay out the hearts, cut up, salt.

On top of the hearts to put vegetable mixture. Add the tomatoes (if large, cut), cranberries (instead of cranberries, you can use slices of lemon or lime), prunes (or dried apricots), chili pepper. Since my marinade was quite tender, I also added in a tagine. However, if the marinade is too acidic or sweet, it is better not to add.
Sprinkle it all lime sticks, put the marinated vegetables. It can be anything: capers, gherkins, olives or olives, mushrooms, garlic... I had mixed vegetables on skewers. I thought about it and decided to post as is right on the skewers.
Close tightly with a lid and put a couple hours on a slow fire.
