Recipe of Greek salad-paste that looks like mashed potatoes, but, unlike the latter, this "salad" eat as a side dish and as a snack. Traditionally in Greece are preparing skordalia March 25, when we celebrate a religious holiday - the Annunciation. Every family in this day, on the table there are skordalia and bakaliaros (cod). The site has a recipe for skordalia other than mine. And here is how I prepare it...

Step by step instruction of cooking Skordalia

Boil the potatoes until the consistency where you can make a puree.

The water from the potatoes drained, add the milk. Blend or mash these.

In the resulting puree add the garlic (grated or pressed through a garlic press), bread crumbs and 8 tablespoons of olive oil. Add salt according to your taste. Give everything a good stir and pericolace.

When a homogeneous mass, put in a salad bowl and pour olive oil (2 tbsp) below the surface "safetravel".
