What a bouillon cube? Many recipes need vegetable broth, and as it turned out, cook it simple, and the taste is simply delicious. For this recipe I am grateful to Maria Savelyeva (madler - LJ nick), she also suggested to freeze the broth in bags or sudochki, so you will always have at hand a real and very tasty broth. Let's get started!
Ingredients for Vegetable broth
- Pasternak - 500 g
- Celery root - 500 g
- Carrots - 500 g
- Onion - 100 g
- Leek - 2 PCs
- Garlic - 1 piece
- Bay leaf - 3 PCs
- Allspice - 10 PCs
- Pepper white - 10 PCs
- Parsley - 30 g
- Water - 3 years
Step by step instruction of cooking Vegetable broth
Vegetables to wash and dry
Peel and cut into large chunks,parsnips,
... and celery
Take only the green part of the leeks
Pour the vegetables three liters of water and bring to a boil. Cook for 30 minutes. Do not forget to collect the foam with a slotted spoon! :)
Take parsley, garlic (to peel), Bay leaf, allspice and black pepper.
After half an hour add the broth and cook for another 20-30 minutes
Take out the vegetables and strain the broth.
Vegetables can be discarded, since all the taste they give the broth and for the most part are tasteless.
All the broth you can use! The rest freeze in the freezer until needed. Savory!
