Continuing the strawberry theme, I decided to please their loved ones for Breakfast instead of the usual porridge warm porridge with strawberries. The dish turned out very tasty and nutritious. Bulgur is chipped wheat, which is pre-steamed, then crushed, and then dried. This is a useful cereal that contains a lot of protein, although purified from bran. Ingredients for Sweet bulgur with strawberries
- Bulgur - 1 Cup.
- Raisins - 50 g
- Cashews - 30 g
- Pine nuts - 30 g
- Butter - 80 g
- Brown sugar - 40 g
- Strawberry - 300 g
- Honey - 3 tbsp.
Step by step instruction of cooking Sweet bulgur with strawberries
Raisins soaked in cold water for 20 minutes and then dry it. Strawberries cut into halves.
In a pan melt the remaining 50g. of butter, put the strawberries, sprinkle top with brown sugar and fry over very high heat just for 2 minutes.
In the finished bulgur pour the chopped nuts, raisins and top the strawberries with the sauce from the pan. On top pour a little melted honey and serve immediately!
