Wonderful dish for lovers of fish for dinner! Provided that you have prepared halibut fillet and half an hour of free time, is prepared easily and quickly.
Ingredients for Halibut, poached in vegetable cushion
- Halibut - 800 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Pepper - 1 piece
- Tomato - 3 PCs
- Sour cream - 4 tbsp
- A mixture of spices
- Vegetable oil
- Bay leaf
Step by step instruction of cooking Halibut, poached in vegetable cushion
Cut the carrots on a coarse grater, onion thin half-rings. Pepper cut into thin strips, tomatoes into large slices.
All vegetables consistently pripuskaet in a skillet in a mixture of butter and vegetable oil.
First, put the carrots, then onions, then bell peppers.
When the vegetables are translucent (do not fry!), put them tomatoes, salt, pepper, cover with a lid and gently simmer.
But with such trouts I cut filet.
Halibut fillets cut into large chunks, sprinkle with a little salt.
Lay in the casserole on top of vegetables, sprinkle with seasoning for fish.
Put a Bay leaf and pour sour cream, diluted with warm water (total liquid should be 250 ml).
Cover with a lid and pripuskaet on low heat for 15 minutes. The sauce needs only a little gurgle, otherwise the fish will fall apart.
Then sprinkle with chopped herbs and keep if off the burner for 10 more minutes.
