There are similar recipes, but I want to give you the original recipe Jamie translated into the Russian language, with its own adjustments in performance, mostly minor, except one: the Jamie recipe uses roasted chestnuts!) Honestly, never tried, replacing the chestnuts with almonds. Ingredients for Chocolate brownie with cherries and chestnuts
- Butter - 175 g
- Dark chocolate - 200 g
- Cherry - 75 g
- Chestnut - 75 g
- Cocoa powder - 75 g
- Flour - 100 g
- Leavening agent - 1 tsp.
- Brown sugar - 300 g
- Chicken egg - 4 PCs
- Powdered sugar
- The creme fraiche
- Orange zest - 1 piece
Step by step instruction of cooking Chocolate brownie with cherries and chestnuts
In a saucepan on a steam bath melt the chocolate and butter, stirring gently until a homogeneous mass.
Then in the chocolate-oil mass add crushed in a mill (a blender) the chestnuts (or nuts) and cherries, mix well and remove from the steam bath.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder (or soda) and sugar.
To connect the resulting mixture with a mixture of melted chocolate, butter, chestnuts (nuts) and cherries.

Then add the eggs, again mix well.
The resulting mixture is spread in a baking pan of approximately 20 x 30 cm, lined with parchment.
